Mizzou Picked Fourth In Sec East : Sports

(AP Photo/Butch Dill) Coaches debate player safety concerns with no-huddle offenses. A year after winning the SEC Eastern Division, Missouri was picked to finish fourth this season by media voters in the annual preseason poll. Only four Mizzou players cracked the preseason all-conference teamand none earning more than second-team honors. Defensive end Markus Golden was a second-team choice, while center Evan Boehm, return specialist Marcus Murphy and kicker Andrew Baggett earned third-team honors. Ive posted my All-SEC ballot later in this entry. Heres the official media team and predicted division standings: OFFENSE QB Nick Marshall, Auburn (241) RB T.J. Yeldon, Alabama (281) RB Todd Gurley, Georgia (280) WR Amari Cooper, Alabama (282) WR Sammie Coates, Auburn (207) TE O.J.

To keep his banner season going Hines will have to deal with the likes of reigning world champion Matt Smith, John Hall, Hector Arana Jr., Michael Ray, Angie Smith, Hector Arana Sr., Steve Johnson and Scotty Pollacheck. Hines wont have a problem advancing to the Countdown to the Championship this year, but he remains focused on the upcoming two-race stretch in Denver and Sonoma, Calif. The altitude at Bandimere Speedway poses numerous challenges but Hines is locked in on the task ahead. You need webblog to have the total package together for this race, Hines said.

Carney vacated the 1995 death sentence of Ernest D. Jones, who petitioned the court to determine whether his death sentence was valid. Carney wrote: Allowing this system to continue to threaten Mr. Jones with the slight possibility of death, almost a generation after he was first sentenced, violates the Eighth Amendments prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment. The decision will certainly be appealed, said CNN legal analysts Jeffrey Toobin and Mark Geragos. Toobin said no executions could proceed in California while the decision stands.
